I got these seeds to grow in a large pot that I have and I sowed the seeds in winter about 5 months ago. I had read online that if I sow the seeds in winter they'll flower in Summer. I added my home made compost to it and then along the ride I had to pick out a lot of pig weed that had grown in the pot. If you see the photos in the link below, the first photo is when the daisies were a bit healthier (2016-04-25) and the second one where they are on the verge of dying or have died (2016-05-12).

When I sowed the seeds I added my home made compost to this pot and a lot of pig weed also grew out in the pot which I removed. Detailed photo album is here: https://www.plantvillage.org/en/users/1 ... urnals/248

Mesembry sowing season is October/November... they dont like heat at all and often the first winter plant to perish at the onset of summers in plains...

Can I also get help on soil bugs? The large pot that I grew mesembryanthemums in started getting many tiny holes each day before watering. And I see these bugs in the soil. Are these beneficial bugs or pests? These are those bugs that curl up when disturbed however these are very small in size.
