Last year I sow turmeric, plant died in winter, thought it to be dormant, few days back I couldn't resist and dig out the pot, what I found was this. Please suggest what to do? When to sow again, it was near the bottom of 15 inch deep pot. How to sow?

Turmeric sowing season is summers i.e. after March... you must enrich the soil with lots of manure before planting the turmerics.. they prefer shade from mid-day sun..
