Tommorow I was at a nursery and the nursery guy told me about gerbera plant that it blooms year round in Lahore. Is this true?

I have a shallow pot about 8 inches deep and 24 inches wide can I grow gerbera in that size of pot??

What are the requirement's of this plant ???

Yes you can grow gerbera in this pot...

Well draining soil with lots of compost... morning sunlight direct... spray of fungicide and pesticide once in 20-25 days...

So does it just dies and I have to buy a new plant every season or is it the other way round???

It doesnt always dies but gets into a bad condition during summers... heat burns its leaves, rains rot its roots..

It does its best in a raised bed with good drainage under dappled shade..
