I have 6 Amaryllis bulbs and none of them grown its roots, 4 out of them die right after flower blooms, it feels like they are just using bulb energy and no root development.

You should not put these bulbs in the shade- My guess is they're in the shade indoors, and perhaps rotting from overwatering. The ones that you say died, were they wet mushy and smelly or dry when you took them out?

Nasir bahi i have got bulbs 8 weeks before in the begaining i put them outdoor and was watering but later someone told me put them in shade and stop over watering, i did, i am not overwatering them from last 4 weeks but still no progress. I have these plastic pots which have lots of holes so there is no chance of overwatering. Bulbs are dry and not smelly.

Put them in the sun please, morning sun till noon atleast. And water them. They should grow roots and do well all over Pakistan. Is the soil completely dry? No watering will also not cause growth. Water it thoroughly then wait a day or two depending on conditions and water again when the upper 0.5 to 1 inch is dry. Once you get the hang of it, it should flourish. Best of luck

What is the medium in pots?

Soil and khad mix from nursery.

Nasir bahi i do give water when soil is dry, i did not mean that i have not given water at all.

Place them in semi shade,keep the soil just moist and Forget.
