i have a single tomato plant and it is bearing around fifty small green tomatoes but unfortunately as they reach the size of a small lemon a black spot appears on the base of the tomato and i then just cut it from the plant.aik aik ker k sub kharab ho rahay hai.can any one suggest me a good pesticide for it.jazakallah

I think it is Bacterial speck its an infection disease which actually comes from infected seeds, always buy healthy seeds.
Senior may tell better as am not an expert. Best of luck

This is known as "Blossom end rot" condition and it is due to Calcium deficiency in soil, dissolve a quarter teaspoon of choona (paan wala choona) in one litre of water (it doesnt dissolves but suspends) and give it to your plants
