Need expert suggestion for Rose Cactus.

I want to propagate this rose cactus. what is the procedure to clone it? and i want to know its actual name please.

This is called an Echeveria. You can propagate it with leaves and pups that emerge at the side of the plant stem. Use a free draining medium for this plant otherwise it will rot.

What is the method? I read on a blog that remove pup and let it dry for one week then plant it in the new pot. is this the method or some else?
