. I planted two saplings 3-4 years back-two different specified varieties are essential for cross pollination, but they could not survive for more than 4-6 months, probably due to weather conditions or improper watering. Haven't tried again.
. Got one from a private nursery & the other from NARC Islamabad, who then had only one variety each. I feel the plants should be available in a big/good nursery in Lahore, otherwise may contact NARC Islamabad-Horticulture Dept, tel # 051-8443759,051-8443760.If you don't succeed there, then I 'll provide to you the contact of the private nursery.Good luck.

Growing Avocado from a seed is very easy. I know on the internet they say to use the toothpick method for growing Avocado but its better to grow it the old fashion way. Just grow the seed in regular soil with some compost, make sure the top side of the seed is up. Better to grow two different types of Avocado varieties for cross pollination. I have two Avocado plants one is about five feet tall and the other one is about 2 feet tall. It will be a while before I get any fruit from them.

You have space problem and yet you want to grow Avocado trees.
Strange all three things you have mentioned are not favoured food of us locals. Market is index of what people want. All three have been tried and not accepted as a regular food by my family.
Good luck
