Aerokaria getting brown

I had bought an aerokaria plant, some 3 feet high about three months ago.
Now for about a month, its branches are turning brown and the lower most have even started to drop.
The nursery man when delivering the plant had changed the pot.
I had sprinkled few granules of urea and DAP but to no avail.

Any help?

Fertilisation should only be undertaken when plants are in an active growth phase and should never be applied to newly shifted plants and inevitably would harm a newly potted plant trying to establish its root again. Brown leaves is not something unusual for Araucaria in our climate as these plants in their original habitat thrive in 50% humidity. Araucaria were introduced to Pakistan and have little utility in my opinion. When the tips start turning brown and the lower branches start dropping off indicate that the air around your tree is too dry and/or it isn't getting enough water.
