any body help me I need detail about parsley. what we can parsley in Urdu actually I need its seeds.
some people say its ajmoda,some say it is ajwain kharsai
i know ajmoda is celery not parsley

Dear Mohsin, to the best of my knowledge, parsley does not have an Urdu equivalent. It is certainly not ajwain as per some webpages. Why are you looking for an Urdu name?

Parsley is a common name locally & seeds are sold in the market with this name.However,I have seen 'Ajmoda' being used for Parsley as also for Oregano.

Dear Farooq. yaha say maen nay pata kiya ha is k seed kisi ko nahi pata agir urdu maen is ka naam pata ho ga to shaid kisi ko pata ho
any how I need its seeds where can i find ????

In cases where a local name is not available, take a a coloured print out/ picture of parsley, and show those pictures to the nursery men. A picture is worth a thousand words. I have never grown parsley myself. Urdu names of plants are more difficult than English because most of those names are either of Persian or Arabic origin...so they are no different than Latin names to the public.

Parsley seeds are available from most of the seed shops..try pride seeds Lahore they can send you the seeds by post.
