Re: Gaillardia - sowing and blooming
sowing season is March - April, blooming start by July - August, regular deadheading makes the plant to to produce blooms for next 2 years as it is a perennial, it re-seeds very easily. Growth is slow initially but it picks up the pace with age. It is a drought tolerant plant and doesn't like prolong periods of moisture, full sun is must. They are very tough otherwise and are hard to kill.
