There is an old neem tree in my soil bed. Goes to around 8 feet tall max. Around 15 years old i guess. Roots are gone to many meters around in diameter. I want to remove the tree and grow another one on same place. Any suggestions?

I have a large neem also. I can do some shade plants there. I think if you just have someone dig down till the roots clear you should be ok. I'm not sure if the roots will be meters deep, that would be too much digging! Depending on which tree u want to put there you can check how deep it's roots go and then dig only that deep. I removed a Marwa once, the roots weren't deep but spread for a couple of meters around.

Just Dig it out!!!It wont survive I guess.Dead roots remaining in the ground will serve as a fertilizer for the other plants when they are mature.

hmmm difficult to dig it out. It is too heavy and too deep. Roots are too thick. What about the chemical which is poured into the roots and BANG!!!!!

Place rock explosive chemical(dynamite) at roots and then ignite it.
i mean to say that its not the proper way.
just cut the tree up 1 or 1/2 feet from root level.
then dig the lower trunk apprximate 1 feet not go much deep. again cut the some roots with saw, then pull lower part with some kind of lever/puller/rod/rop. and then level the ground. remaing roots will rot with passage of time.
Ask this job to some free lance tree cutters they will do this job with quite ease.
Regards

Cut the tree 1 foot above the ground.
Now you have many choices of stump removing.
Expose the roots by Digging & cut them with an ax or saw. (only large roots)
OR
Fire the stump with the help of kerosene oil.
OR
Drill holes into the stump and pour lime or acid into the holes. When the stump is dead, it will eventually decompose.
