indoor plants

Post by Mrs. Ahmed »

salams, i am very new to gardening. Recently reading an article on air purifying plants has motivated me to take an interest in gardening. i wonder if some one can tell me Urdu names of these plants, so i can buy them from a local nursey These are supposed to be air purufying but non toxic for pets.
Areca palm (Chrysalidocarpus lutescens
Kimberly queen fern (Nephrolepis obliterata)
Peace lily (Spathiphyllum 'Mauna Loa')
Spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum)
Gerbera Daisy or Barberton daisy (Gerbera jamesonii)
Thankyou. looking forward to learning......

Welcome to the forum Mrs Ahmed, you don’t need urdu names for any palm and ferns because they are available with the same names in the local nurseries and all plants are air purifiers or they filter the air and keep the indoor fresh to breath and I recommend you should go for money plants because we got many verities available locally and they require less or no care and on the top of it they are beautiful to look at and good for indoor
