I went to Pattoki today and luckly i saw few plants of falsa there with flowers on them and according to the guy at nursery they are ready for fruits. Their hight were between 3 to 5 feet approx. & the demand was only 60 Rs/Plant. For your convinence their address and contact no is Zeshan Nursery Farm. Ch. Muhammad Tuffail 0300 4379760.

I'd go for the ones at Lahore Nursery coz I've tasted the fruits.They are the sweetest on the planet.But as dak said they are ready to set fruits then it aint a bad option to try those as well.Let them set fruit in pots and see if the fruits are good enough for you to plant it in the ground.

Next month, buy one kg of falsa fruit. Eat the fruits and sow the seeds. Simple, isn't it? Desi one has small fruits but sweet fruit. The other one is farmy has sour taste not as sweet.

Falsa bushes and giant falsa tree is deferent species.i want giant falsa tree

{t is a shrub or small tree growing to 8 m tall. The leaves are broadly rounded, 5–18 cm long and broad, with a petiole 1-1.5 cm long. The flowers are produced in cymes of several together, the individual flowers about 2 cm diameter, yellow, with five large (12 mm) sepals and five smaller (4–5 mm) petals. The fruit is an edible drupe 5–12 mm diameter, purple to black when ripe}

My Guava (Amrud) orchard at Thokar Niazbaig is dying. Replacing it with Falsa seems to be a good idea. How long it takes from sowing to fruiting?

I believe Falsa tree and Falsa bush are same plant. It is for commercial reasons that it is kept in bush form . It bears flowers/fruit on new growth only and picking of fruit is easy from a bush, that is why it is pruned every year.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

As per my knowledge they differ from each other.Falsa tree can grow upto 16 ft while bushes are nowhere as large.A huge falsa tree is growing at Lahore nursery.

I confirmed from an expert at pattoki. They are two different things. Although leaf shape is same, their growing habit is different. Falsa tree is not common while bush is what you will get from every where.
