Raat Ki Raani no fragrance

I bought Raat Ki Raani about 3 feet tall with some flowers in a 12 inch pot, & placed it in a sunny spot, enjoyed it's beautiful fragrance for a few days, thinking that it may do better in a larger pot as a permanent place I re potted it in a larger 2 feet pot, I watered it freely on the first day to let the soil settle but sparingly afterwards ( knowing that it needs less water) but to my utter dismay the fragrance is gone its been about 10 days. What is the problem, any solution?

The old flowers lose fragrance, its natural... BTW do water you plant to keep it moist, its really hot nowadays..
