This is my old water tank. My father discarded it as it is draining.
I want to grow veggies in the tank by cutting it half. It makes 2 very big containers. It is made of Fiber Glass so had been turning the water very hot in summer. Is it suitable for plantation? I am willing to grow Tomato, chillies, cucumbers etc.

People have been successfully growing vegetables in discarded bathtubs also made of fiber glass like your water tank and blue chemical drums. Just make drainage hole just like you have in regular clay pots and I think you would have no problem.

There is no problem growing veggies in them as my friend has also grown many veggies in them only you have to make more drainage holes so that the drum remains cool and the plants roots don't burn.
