What an amazing collection of plants! Very nice and impressive.

I was quite fond of Aristolochia on account of its hanging basket type seeds and an interesting flower looking like a duck but all my interest vanished when it was learnt that Aristolochia plant naturally contains quite powerful cancer causing substances and kidney toxins. One can argue that nobody is eating it for food but still I was surprised to know that some plants can also cause cancer as well. A layman's version is available in Wikipedia, however there are scientific papers which claim the same.

Don't terrify me , I got aristolochia grandiflora and aristolochia gorgona as well.I'll keep myself distant from them.Flowers are gigantic so I can see them from even far away :)

Wonderful plants, simply amazing, specially the black adenium. Is it available in Karachi? I agree with Mfarooq regarding the carcinogenic
properties of aristolochia, but don't be that alarmed, it falls in category 1 carcinogens which also includes birth control pills :)

Thanks.

Izhar might be able to give input on b lack adneium.I have several diffrent black and blue adeniums.I buy most of my adeniums from www.siamadenium.com.I've over 150 adenium varieties.

Black and blue adeniums should be grown under green net or at a place where it gets only morning sun.More the sun exposure, lesser the amount of black or blue color in flower.

The daylilies are breath taking, what surprises me the most is that the plant itself is soo plain looking but its blooms are soo exotic!!!!
