I am starting this thread to discuss addition of various Mods by Khabbab for incorporation into forum.
The discussion will include

1. Recommendation of mod by a member
2. Stability of Mod, compatibility with our phpbb version and its incorporation modalities (can be answered by specialist such as Khabbab, Mirafzal, Rafique Sb etc)
3. Usefulness, practicability, privacy issues related to mod etc.

To start with i am suggesting few mods. Mod title is self explanatory what mod will do otherwise see the link for further details.

Yes some of these are really good. I have already installed "Auto link" mod live and moderators can test if it is working fine.

I would prefer whoever installs a mod keep a distance of at least 2 weeks between installation of a new mod. A backup of forum must be taken before each installation just in case.

Mod as well as backup requires access to FTP server. I propose that all mods to be done by you alone to tackle issues like backing up, any chance of error in installation or anything else.

Keeping in view forum growing rapidly and disk usage of attached images (Going to be over 1GB in next couple of months) i am thinking of using automatic image resizing for attached uploaded images https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... e_resizer/ Any suggestions?

Seems good.
What is the cost of increasing our database limit?
Anyhow i feel we should encourage photobucket/etc more. Good size, no limit of uploading in one post, your own library and no burden on forum.

Attachments not stored in database but on server. No cost increase at all.

I totally agree about photobucket etc. but not sure how to attract users to use that instead of uploading attachment.
