Pakistan Gardening Forum

Hi all,

I'm just joined the Gardening Pakistan forum and I'm loving it. The quality of material and the solid information contained in the posts was the second thing that pleasantly surprised me after finding a local gardening forum. Thank you all for the good work.

I thought it would be good to introduce myself. I'm from Lahore. Love gardening in general and Cacti and Succulents in particular. I have a modest collection of C&S and would love to meet people with same interests over here. I am open to swap for cacti and succulents.

I'll post some pictures of my plants soon. Hope I'd be able to contribute to this awesome forum.

Oh my god.......MashaAllah....are these real ya cameray ki safai ha? hahahahaha....Honestly they are truly amazing and wonderful....Plz tell me from where can I get them from lahore...I live near Iqbal town.

Thanks guys.. I also believe cacti flowers are amongst the most beautiful of all. The sheen and silky appearance is not very common to find elsewhere.

AliRazaq, I own a six years old canon S60 (5MP) point and shoot... so it cant really be "Camera ki safai" I have a few good sources in Lahore and a few in other cities... will send you a PM once Im able to do so.

AhmadIrfan bhai, this is the right time of the year to start a collection. The plants must be well established before the rainy season starts. The humidity and water can wipe the plants with unestablished root system pretty quickly. I've learnt that the hard way.
