AOA to all
I’m very happy to find such a nice blog in Pakistan and also knowledgeable gardeners at one place, I m a green head person really like gardening, landscaping, flowers and everything about gardens, it’s not something that I found later rather it’s something I’m born with.
I live in Wah Cantt its very close to Islamabad/Rawalpindi and our climate zone is between 8b and 9b but I’m not very sure about it, I developed a big green belt and a plot around my house, also got some plants in pots on my terrace, my list is tuberose, narcissus(gul-e-nargis), dahlia, chrysanthemum (gul-e-daudi), lycoris, iris, day lilly, Hippeastrum locally also known as red lilly, Rangoon climber both types, sago palm(kangee palm), Alexandra palm, cane palm, cat palm, different varity of money plants and seasonal and annual plants, my best experience was my Rangoon climber(jhumka bale) with pink flowers because it was blooming at least three times in a season, its bloom was exceptionally excellent when it bloomed its flowers were more than its leaves and on the top of it the way its white flowers turn into pink in day time and its fragrance quite similar to jasmine, my recent addition or experiment was my daffodils that I brought from England and it was a success now they are blooming and I m a happy lad, next year InshAllah I’m planning to bring some more plants from UK.
I’m an amateur gardener like you people and still learning, found this blog good to learn and the credit goes to Mr. Khabbab and Mr. Izhar, I hope and looking forward to learn from you guys because I’m nothing in term of knowledge and experience in front of you people but I hope that I will be a small positive part of this blog in the future
