Asalamalaikum!
Firstly I am so glad I found this forum! I have a little garden which is not in a good condition to begin with. Being a plant and greenery lover I decided to make something of it and searched online for all the help possible but couldnt find relevant webpages for local gardening, and then while searching for balsalm I came across this page, and I am so glad!!

By profession, I am a fresh doctor... and would soon be starting my residency

I hope and wish to recieve all the help in the world to have a cute little greeny patch of my own. Thanks!

Asalamalaikum everyone

I am posting a few pics here.... my home faces east, and this small garden is a bit on the side of the house, so it recieves 4-5 hours of sunlight in the summers, also, there is a small patch reserved for vegetables in the front by the wall, which recieves a bit more sunlight. My mom used to have eggplants, tomatoes and chilli plants as well as torilto vines. Here is an old image. My mom created this thing on her own.

This was 3 years ago..... But then, some pest infestation destroyed the mint leaves and tomatoes, and then water became scarce, we didnt get out own boring done for some months, for unknown reasons

The torilto vines of course die out in winters, and this is the new pic of the patch

Now the garden, it used to have grass once upon a time, but then water problems, and paucity of sunlight together just finished the job. The garden has a lemon tree and a small curry leave tree, and a few other plants i have no idea about. Its about 8x4 ft in size. Not much, but still enough to give a green look to the area.
