some of my roses started flowering.these are the very first blooms of 2012 spring

my rose pathway is just like this these days.after a week it will be full of blooms Inshallah

Thanks Izhar.i planted these roses in 2004.now they are established plants.Micheal Angelo & Cabana were planted previous year.this is there first time to bloom.Khabbab Nagret is very beautiful variety.but its losing its popularity.i think many other dark red roses introduced so that may be a cause.i love it ,i have six plants which i planted in 2004.the plant is very compact & ideal for pot culture.

The rambler is the Murdan rose?

yes exactly its Mardan rose & its very popular in my native.

I would expect 8 year old plants to be much bigger, you must be pruning them very hard.
What is the most appropriate method and time of pruning of roses.
