Happen to visit Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, commonly known as Blue Mosque, few weeks back. The grandeur of this strikingly beautiful and imposing mosque is such that one is absolutely overwhelmed. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a large no of rose beds in the Mosque lawn. The roses were very healthy, almost all were scented and had huge flowers, mostly.

Sultan Ahmed Mosque, located right infront of Hagia Sophia, is an imposing first sight.

All lawns around the mosque have rose beds planted with quality roses. There is a large no of standard roses also, some of which have almost become a tree with thick trunks. Have a looks at few pics.

Munir bhai, my apologies for misspelling your name. Nowadays I am mostly posting from my cell phone and I observed that auto correct somehow changes Munir to my minor every time. My fault Sir.
