what's the best pesticide to counter aphids?

If you want organic control use simple jet stream of water to wash them away. Garlic spray, soap water are other options.
For inorganic generally most pesticides cater for aphids. Bayer confidor, malathion, lamda, are few brands

buy 70 rs bottle of diseen , dilute two bttle caps in 2 liters, and spray , takes care of aphids and all other pests. i use the same. try to spare the honey bees though.

Simply use Acetamiprid.it kill Aphids & also very affective against Mealybugs.Mealybug is not indicated on the label but it kills it effectively.Imedacloprid is also very good against Aphids but will not kill Mealy.

Vigilance is key. Before you know it they take of the entire lawn and put the roses in stress. I used Aceta Mepard last year with excellent results. Infact didn't even need a second spray!

Yes Khan sb Aceta meprid really works.it also kills Mealy bugs.so you can hunt both with the weapon.Mealy bug are non sense in the garden.they are very hard scales.

Khan saheb mealy bugs are the worst. Last year I was spraying almost everyday a combinations. Although they were dying by the hundreds but still more kept n coming. My carpet was dotted with dead bodies everywhere

i agree with you aphids are nothing in front of mealy bugs.they are numberless nymphs and i am totally fed up..i am kiling them daily but i think it is impossible because they not only on plants but walls ,rooftop and everywhere you can find them.my gerbera plants are badly effected.
