My roses are a bother, they are sick and do not respond to fortnightly sprays of insecticide combined with fungicide.
This is how they look
Advise, What to do, what to spray, how often and at what strength.

Sir The roses i shared of Academy.........They are in fact in worse condition than what you are showing.......life less....seem badly abused and no body can say that they can revive again....when i asked the head mali. He said that they will prune them in September and everything will be back to normal...they only spray something for thripes(he said teliya) and nothing else

Is October the right time to prune roses in Lahore? If so when in October?
Why do we prune so hard? many recommend up to 1/3 only.

I am not that much expert on roses.but light prune is needed in August if required to improve air circulation to min fungus attack.in early spring hard pruning is required in order to get new wood growth.modern roses flower on new wood.the old roses do not need pruning.
