what happens to melon plant after melons are harvested

I have grown a melon plant in a large pot.It gave me a single melon which I have already harvested , but plant is not showing any sign that it is going to die neither any other melon is growing on it.
What should i do:
Pull the plant and replace it with some other???
OR
Will the plant flower again????????

Not sure but I think it will not produce any more flower.
Just for experiment feed it with little quantity, half strength of NPK 10:10:10 wait for at least two Weekes and see what it response.

Have compost all my melon plants after harvesting except one waiting for any sign of new growth.

Update:
Male flowers start reappearing on my melon vine.
