I am in Lahore. The past few days, my tomato plants have been burning in the summer heat. They are planted in the ground and get daily watering and the soil stays damp. But still leaves are turning yellow. Do I need to give them some shade or is it too hot for growing tomatoes.

It is getting very hot in Punjab and tomatoes are not going to grow in this heat. I would recommend to start new tomatoes from seeds or seedlings following August.

No Mustansir, established tomatoes have big leaves and they suffer great heat stress as compared to smaller ones...
