It is more popular in east asia rather than our culture. Not sure if its name in Urdu exists at all. Regardless, I did the mistake of eating it and it is one of the most non palatable fruits despite it's beautiful appearance. The best way to desccribe it = tasteless jelly.


Try prickly pear (edible cactus fruit) instead which is common in Pakistan

Well I have tasted the fruit and found it pleasant it's like mildly sweet melon with crunchy seeds.

I have the dragonfruit plant, it has grown very long in a 6" pot... if anyone wants a cutting i can share... it has never bloomed though...

did u buy it locally????

Bhai i want a cutting, how did you grow it by seed, cutting ? is it available in nurseries i've been searching for it for so long

same here i want a cutting too but if i can get it locally from a nursery i wud prefer that.......

It was given to me by Waqas Saeed of this forum, as far as i remember he grew it from seeds... i can give a cutting to both of you... its a climber and needs strong rough support to stick and climb..
