Does anyone experience a time lag between typing and the actual appearnace of the text on the screen on this forum. I do not know why the computer becomes slow when I load this webpage. My system is Vista with internet explorer. Is there anything which I can disable or change the setting on IE to make typing faster. It is very difficult to correct a typing mistake because the cursor seems to be slow as well. I tried that on another computer having XP but same issue was seen.

Word and the rest behave "normally".
Any suggestions from the computer experts?

Seems like an issue with your computer. Have you tried any other online page for typing, how does it perform there?

There are so many possible causes of your problem such as missing add-on or mismatched add-on or any other program on your computer which is conflicting with tools running on the forum, which can not be confirmed without looking to your computer. Internet explorer not work as good as other explorers on phpbb forum like us. Use Mozila Fire Fox for forum it will definitely solve your problem & you will also see some change in appearance of forum.

It that the time lag in typing and text appearance is unique here. Emails, hotmail, gmail, and facebook are fine. Why is that two different systems one XP and the Vista do the same thing. The XP system has firefox. I will try downloading Firefox on my laptop and see if it works.

Mir sahab, you were right. It is an issue with IE. The time lag disappears with Firefox which I just installed on my Vista system.

Farooq sb use Opera or Google Chrome.its just because of inter net explorer.
