Sun Flower....

Sun Flower is the easiest plant to be grown from seed and to observe the entire process(because of larger seed size)...however plant seeds in compost/soil mix for better results...bury them a centimeter below....Work out the soil to be loose and soak the seeds for quick germination.....Regarding water just keep the soil moist.
Sun flower grow quite big generally so you can start them in pot and latter shift to soil bed, otherwise in a Big Pot....Bigger the better....Sun Flower require full sun throughout. eastern exposure when they grow larger.

Here are some pics of my experience with the sunflower seeds...(purchased from Karachi Empress market as recommended by Khabbab's Blog)

You can grow tomatoes, chillies, okra and egg plants in small pots.. sunflowers are best grown in ground but can be grown in pots they are taller plants reaching 5-10 feet in eight...
