I want beautiful bi color flower or picotee having visual appeal. Out of phlox, carnation and dianthus which one blooms longest? These are all having either picotee or bicolors.

Khabbab as you already said Petunia.my favorite for so many reasons, long blooming, widest color range, doubles & singles, grandiflora & multifloras, mound habit, cascade habit.so many reasons.thats the simple reason its eating the market share of so many annuals.second are snapdragons.long blooming seasons.so many bi colors & flat vivid colors.hight range from 6 inchs floral showers to 2 ft towering admirals.flower shapes simple dragon type, bells type & fully double like madame butterfly.plus sheen in the flowers like sonnets have.Pansies last so fast but they start flowering in the fall.i have even seen them in first week of dec flowering.last but not the least Mari golds so long time.if you save them from frost they even bounce back in spring.the flower size is also very nice.Khabbab for me long blooming is big factor to select an annuals.thats the reason i don,t grow so many bulbs except Dahlias.in my view in annuals nothing can beat Dinner plate Dahlias.
