Hi All,

I have two Silver Yucca's with multiple offshoots, can anyone tell me how to separate and propagate the offshoots?

Thanks,
ARQ

Here are step by step (general) directions for yucca plants. Please be careful with as the plant sap can be severely irritating. I have had bad experience with Agaves, while pruning the leaves, the sap cause painful burning on the arms.

Propagation is simple, just cut a minimum 10 inch cutting or offset and stand the cutting in a cool dry place inside the house in an empty jug for 2-3 days for callus to form over the severed end.

Pot the cutting in a well drained soil mix and water it only when the soil feels dry..

Place the container in a shaded location until established.
