Is anyone interesting in searching/ finding these plants? These plants are in my wish list for a long time without much success. I had woodrose and kewra, and Bauhinia but lost them.

I am briefly writing their qualities (pictures are from Google images):

This is Michelia champaca, said be one of the most fragrant flowers. Used in making very expensive perfumes. I had a white version, but the fragrance of white was very light. Could not find orange Michelia in Karachi. This is wood-rose. One of the most fascinating vines. Had the seeds it from one professor's house in Karachi. Initially bears yellow flowers which later turn into "literally" woodroses, which essentially last forever. It is not a vine but a liana, which means it can grow really really tall. Woodroses (actually the seed containers) look very beautiful on the vine. This is lovely kev-ra. Never seen in any nursey in Islamabad or Karachi. Actually the plant died in Islamabad. Ever since the search has been futile. Highly eastern fragrance. One flower is enough to make its fragrance felt in a 100 ft long lawn!

This is ylang ylang. Also one of the most fragrant flowering tree. Used in making expensive perfumes. I have never seen it in reality but internet is full of its praise. Is anyone aware of Pakistani source?
This Bauhinia is also very rare and certainly not the one that commonly grows in Islamabad...looking for this particular flower. Does anyone have this particular Bauhinia? Seeds grow easily. I grew one, but the seedling died.

Nobody seems to be interested in getting fragrant tropical trees out of thousand members? It's as strange as it can be! :-(

Peculiarity of tropical plants is bigger size, longer life, delayed blooms. Though i am very much interested neither my zone allows me nor i can have that much time at one place currently ......However if you are looking for something which is quick to bloom, maybe small enough then count me in.

Yours is a difficult case because you have to move. But the good news is that all tropical I mentioned easily grow in pots and they flower as well except wooodrose. If your current city weather is close to Karachi then all of them will grow easily.

Then tropical may not survive, summer is okay in , but not sure about your winter. All my tropical plants died (wood rose and kev-ra) when we shifted to Islamabad for a while in the winter.

This Michelia Champaca is blooming in Lawrance garden, I have not seen the bloom or smelled it, it is listed in their booklet. I got five plants from there, gifted three to friends and have two about four feet tall. They require protection in summer as well as in winter.
Wood rose I have not seen or heard of it.
Let me know if you find someone having a REAL Kev-ra plant.

I had a Ylang ylang tree but when it bloomed it had a small flower, not very fragrant so out it went.
Now I have a Ylang Ylang rambler it hasn’t yet bloomed let us hope I don’t have to throw it out too
The forth plant on your list is the fragrant Bauhinia which blooms in November, there are quite a few in our golf club, what a fascinating fragrance, I collected some seeds but they did not germinate. I will try again.

Wood rose seeds are available at chiltern seeds UK but i doubt if it is fragrant. I assume wood rose you mean Ipomoea tuberosa. If it is fragrant, i will try seeds in next purchase.

Ylang ylang vine is easily available in pattoki and in lahore too. I got one specimen flowering for me right now. But it is yellow flower, small , drooping one.

Michelia champaca is in the booklet of lawrence gardens but it is not growing there per my knowledge. Doc amir has a a huge plant in his garden, got from a local nursery. Perhaps magnolia figo is more famous for its fragrance (now easily available in lahore) plus figo is a bush not tree.

There are lots of variants of bauhinia purpurea and variageta flowering in lawrence gardens lahore.

I am already in for Kevra, and my search for the same from Hamdard University is on, i have asked a friend who has a friend in Hamdard University and he is searching for it through his sources from caretaker of the garden, let's hope for a positive response.
