Local Names of Creepers & Climbers

Salam,

I am researching creepers and climbers and am unable to find the local names of the following. Will greatly appreciate if anyone can help with the local names (where applicable). Thank you.


1. Wisteria
2. Virginia creeper
3. Climbing hydrangea
4. Trumpet creeper
5. Cape Honeysuckle
6. Cat's Claw Vine
7. Hall's Honeysuckle
8. Trumpet Creeper
9. Passion flower
10. Clematis
11. Boston Ivy
12. English Ivy
13. Clitoria ternatea
14. Woolly Morning Glory
15. Hydra ivy
16. Rangoon Creeper
17. Quisqualis indica
18. Campsis radicans
19. Queen's wreath

Hello. I can help you with only two:
9. passion flower is known as passion flower/passiflora
16. Rangoon creeper is called many names: sehra/jhumka/dulhan bail

I would advise you to do a simple search -top right corner- because most if not all of these plants have been discussed before! And thanks to the members of this forum, we have a flora database of the plants available in pakistan- here is the link: http://gardeningpakistan.com/viewforum.php?f=110

Please do not spend too much time on finding local names as they do not exist. If you are doing it for buying purposes, take a picture and better ask the nursery man for availability.

4. (Campsis radicans) Trumpet creeper as tecoma bail
9. Passion flower as ghari phool
13. Clitoria ternatea as nelofer
14. Woolly Morning Glory as tezgam
17. Quisqualis indica jhumka bail
19. Queen's wreath as sandpaper vine,,,raigmar bail
