Please have a look at this series of flickr photos, they date back to 1963 and are of Shalimar gardens and Jehangirs tomb in Lahore.
In the backgrounds you can see displays of potted plants, I cant work out if they are chrysanthemums or dahlia's. they certainly seem to be dinner plate sized ones regardless, can any members enlighten please?

The image of the plants lacks clarity but they appear to be Chrysanthemums.
