The purple flowers in picture # 4 are called Ruellia. I remember its seeds burst open whenever water touches them with a cracking sound. It was a game played by children when household internet did not exist.

Picture no. 3 is also a related plant, you can see that flower bud pattern is same as Ruellia. It is perhaps Ruellia squarrosa.

The pink flowers are rain lilies. Ignore the mouthful Latin name :-).

Then the yellow flowers are that of Ixora

I have closely observed plants and flowers of pic 3 and 4, their leaves are different in size and their flowers are different too, i think they are not same..

After comparing images of Ruellia on Google, pic 4 is confirmed Ruellia ... still confused about flower in picture 3, coz it is not matching with Ruellia..

What about this one:

I agree picture 3 and 4 are not the same, but they are of the same genus. The species are different. You can read a detailed essay on flower identification strategies for hobbyists. I am sure you will find the exact plant names if you search Ruellia by google images.

My relationship with plants is perhaps is more than 15 years old. Frankly, I don't know each and every plant - whatever plants we had at home, I used to find their names after a thorough search... mainly in botany books. With the "blessing" of Google now, even if you vaguely remember the plant genus, you can search the exact name.

Farooq

Dear Yahya, Picture no. 4 is that of Ruellia as we discussed in previous posts. The families of Ruellia and Clematis are totally different.
