Hi all,
Looking to get some oxygenating plants for an outdoor pond. Particularly looking for the following:
Cabomba (Cabomba caroliniana)
Hornwort (Ceratophyllum demursum)
Anacharis (Egeria densa)

I have been to the regular fish stores in Karachi (Passport office, Burns Road) but no luck. Same results with the few nurseries that I have visited. I was hoping that someone with experience in this type of thing could provide me with some guidance.

All three plants are common and they will be available, you have to visit regularly.. also try shops at Liaquatabad No.10.. there are 4-5 shops..

Hi pond man! You can get all these plants in Karachi- depends on the season etc. I did get cabomba and hornwort from the passport office shops. If you could pm me, I can add you to a fish/aquatic plant group on facebook (karachi based). I'm sure they can help you out!

Go to Saddar passport office... there are many shops...

Izhar bhai! Are they adjacent to passport office. The shops.

Yes... also sometimes you can find a lot of plants and sometime there arent any.. so keep visiting...

Thanks Izhar bhai! By the way. My fishes are dying on a daily basis. I have small Rs. 400 rectangular aquarium. One fish die each day. I am giving the fishes proper oxygen and feed. But I do not let the Oxygen pump 24 h "On". So, I guess the plants will help out the issue. I am giving the fishes the small circle feed as available in the market. The gold fish feed. My fishes are very tiny. Not big size like the Gold Fish. I bought the aquarium from near light house I don't know the name if it is burns road or bandar road.
