If you intend to grow it in a pot then change to a bigger one.

In Thailand they harvest wild lantana with thick stems and graft multi colored soft wood varieties, just like Bougainville grafts

Wow. These specimens are interesting. I moved abroad for study so the work I was doing is mostly un attended now. The plant is still in my home and I usually guide my brother on what to do with it. I will post more pictures in december when i get home in sha Allah.

Updates on the experimentation with standard and fan training of lantana

I have moved the plants to a larger container and improved the soil.

I also hard pruned in the winter.

For the standard it might help using a single straight bamboo stem-the ones heat treated to straighten them and then colored red.
Once your desired height is reached, u should prune off the central leader-u might already have done so- and keep pruning to make a lolly-pop topiary and thicken the stem
