Its good to sow seeds in coco peat or at least cover the top for good germination, pots should neither be placed in full sun nor at dark place, day bright light is recommended till they are big enough to be translated, the above info is according to my limited knowledge, our annual experts may add.

Peat moss can be part of sowing media but shouldn't be used stand alone in my opinion as its a conditioner and not a growing media. It will greatly assist in germination(can be used alone for germination also) but the actually story starts after that. It is not a growing media nor contains any nutrients. Newly emerged seedlings will require soil/compost for further growth.

Moreover it tends to be extremely soggy if used in bulk. Use some ratio if you intend to use it.

Purpose of coco coir is to provide softer covering media to seeds enabling easy sprouting. However it also tends to wash away to sides if used in lesser quantity.

It was transplant not translate, it was due to auto correct option in my phone.

Here by light does not mean direct sun light, its mean day light. wrap ur pot with polythene plastic sheet and keep it in direct sun light, If temperature is too much there then u can put in shaded side too. wrapping will retain moisture in the soil. new germination needs warmth, moisture and oxygen while some seeds needs light as well.
