Deceptions in pictures

Photo graphs of flowers are very deceptive specially in relation to size.
What is the Actual size of this flower ?



Or from this picture?



The actual size is 1/2 of what I see on my monitor.

I suggest we give the actual size along with each picture for correct concept.
Any suggestions?

I agree, though some plants we have an idea.. but pictures with a comparison object will be better...

A closeup along with a image taken from a normal distance like posted above by Brig Sahib can ensure better indication of actual size.

Its even better to take one picture with most common usable coin or suppose Ball pen along with the plant or flower for easy comparison of size.
