1. There must be highly knowledgeable people out there and I am sure they must be willing to contribute pictures and information. And you are right that they might not be using the internet at all. What about contacting Zahra Nasir (of newspaper Dawn) and requesting her to mention this idea, with a clarification that there is no commercial aspect behind it.
2. Well, we did ask to have volunteers. Apparently 9 people have the right to add plant entries and modify them at their will. Their names were added because they showed interest in contributing pictures and / info. You will note that photo credit is always mentioned. I have posted two times on the Gardening page (facebook) to contribute pictures etc...may be it was not clear enough to make them think about contributions.
