Re: Patio logbook
The bad news is that one of the laborers cut an exposed mango tree root in half. It's not the main root but one of the root extensions ,but still I'm nervous. Really hope this doesn't damage the tree, as the whole point of making a patio here was to enjoy it's shade in the coming months.

Hello Newton! Meet Stella. My fav German sheppie. She loves to play with the garden hose, chase birds, growl at passing army men and sometimes break flower pots (a little dog devil makes her do it) I hope she takes mercy on the pots that will be placed on the patio.

Re: Patio logbook
Day Four: covered a lot of ground today. I made some markings and then had the workmen go along with their work of laying down the gravel and covering it up with cement. The tiles were delivered too, got a bit late as the roads were closed for the Chinese prez. The plan is to lay down the tiles herringbone style and then get on with the path. Hope tomorrow turns out as good as today. Inshallah.
