I dont know what this cactus with huge white flowers is known as. My mali calls it "Naag phani". Also the type of euphorbia and orchid.

Superb, specially your orchids are very beautiful.1st one is dendrobium i guess.

The orange dotted flowers are of Belamcanda chinensis of the Iris family. The second one, of pink aster like lowers, doesn't look the the Euphorbia genus. It is a very beautiful flower whatever be the name! Any clues of the name?

The first picture of the purple orchids is among the most beautiful orchids in the world. How much patience is required in rearing orchids...so finiky and delicate plants!

The pink blooming plant is Pereskia grandiflora

The white blooming Cactus is a Cereus but cant judge species..

Orchids are very easy plants in Karachi, you just need a right place, lots of air moisture & small amount of fertilizers when they are in growing phase..

Thank you guys for the correct names. You all are really good at it. Izhar you are right about the hardy nature of orchids. I bought this dendrobium three years back and since then it has been lying in the same hanging basket and bloomed every year, in fact twice last year, probably because of better monsoon. I dont know when will the rains start this year in Karachi?

I must try growing Orchids. How to go about it in Lahore?

Brig sb, I grew phalaenopsis orchids and they did very well without any special care.Dendrobiums are even hardier.
