Can anyone please tell me how to differentiate between Phragmites karka & Pragmites australis? along with their local names.
And also that which species is expected to be found in Islamabad.

Its name is "Buddu Narra" locally, and it grows pink flowers( Not blue).

Please help to identify this plant. I request its scientific name. Its local name is "Buddu Narra". It grows light blue flowers. Its stem pith is hollow.
