Re: Gerberas
The current time is ideal to shift them to a raised bed on ground which hopefully would minimize the chances of water logging during the monsoon season and preferably the site should have sunlight from morning till 12 pm and then shade to protect them from hot afternoon sun especially during our hot summers.by UMARKHANMARDAN » March 26th, 2014, 10:54 pm

Re: Gerberas
I would say at-least 18 inches to ensure good air circulation as well as to minimize the chances of a plant getting effecting from fungus from another plant. Plus the Gerberas are going to spread with the passage of time.
Islamabad seems to be better option in terms of less cold during the winters compared to Mardan. Do make sure that soil in the bed has good drainage and sunlight from morning till 12 pm and then shade.
All of my Gerberas are planted in average garden soil.

Re: Gerberas
Munir Sahib,
They seem to have been planted in a slope an ideal location for them. The colours in particular of the first and last Gerbera are eye pleasing. These days one has to keep an eye on mealy bugs which can seen clinging to the stems.
