I have tried 3 heliconias and two died and one has been suffering for 2 years without flowering. If it fails to flower this year I will discard it. I agree heliconias are better suited to Karachi. Too hot as well as too cold for them in Lahore.

I'll try to post pictures of the yellow Heliconia.

The size is quite reasonable. Properly cared for and it ought to thrive and flower in this year. Your Heliconia would need protection from afternoon sun especially in June, July and August. An ideal location would be where it gets sunshine from morning till noon and then shade. Good luck.

The blooms seems to be burned with heat?? or is it an old bloom?

Did it survived?
It was presumed to be dead but it's staging a comeback !!! This is the same Thai variety whose picture is posted below.

Healthy plant with beautiful bloom. I had one but died in last winter.
