Cut Flower Chrysanthemums

Post by mikhurram »

Imported cut Chrysanthemums in various sizes can be purchased from Florist shops and propogated. I started experimenting with cut Chrysanthemums two years back. After squandering Rs 10 to 12,000 finally managed to save 30% of the varieties. Majority of the cutting were lost due to monsoon weather and fungus upon rooting. Here are 12 pictures. Part 1 consisting of Green Mums.

Common Chrysanthemums required cane support to support their stalk. Stems of Cut Chrysanthemums are more erect comparatively require lesser support as they are designed to be used in bouquets. Part 2 of Pink Cut Chrysanthemums.
