Five bulbs were planted on 30th Nov and 8th Dec, there is no signs of new leaves with these. I think as the habitat of bulbs, they set roots first and then show leaves. So waiting anxiously. 10 bulbs were planted on 8th January , 2014 and these bulbs will take more time.
First five bulbs were purchased from Chanandin and Pride seeds Lahore and 2nd ten are purchased from eBay.co.UK. Hope these bulbs will come true as these were sold with their names.

The scape comes out even before the roots develop but the leaves start growing as the roots grow.
Although these bulbs are pre chilled, on planting they should be placed in a warm place to make them feel that the spring has arrived.
I found that if they are exposed to outdoor cold nights they remain dormant.
Best of luck with the project Amaryllis :)
