Though it is not clear in the pic either it is a grafted actual plant shoot or a sucker.
If it is sucker then sure remove it as it consumed the food of grafted plant.
If it is not a sucker but a actual planted rose then better to pinch it out. the new side sprouted branches will produce flowers.

Yes Rafique manure is not good in hot summers thats why i already told its not the right time to apply any type of fertilizer.

Ok this is the picture of my rose plant from ground. I m still unable to identify the problem and the type whether its a sucker or grafted plant. Should I remove it , prune it or fertilize it ?? Still mixed up .

Wild rose. I can see that rose was grafted but unfortunately you let the wild stock grow and original rose died and this wild rose took place.

Kindly suggest Mr. Mustansir Can a wild rose plant sprout flowers ??

Yes why not. The wild rose used here as root stock bear light pink fragrant flowers in bunches.

This shoot bears all those characteristics which the root stock have.

This is wild rose right? It became dominant whereas grafted rose didn't survived.
