asslam o alaikum.. as usual i'm back with my same old boring question what to sow at this time.. nothing much worked for me in summer as it was extremely hot in karachi.. only few zinias n portulacas.. all my time was spent in protecting my old plants n helping them to beat the heat n survive..as my terrace receives full sun... pls do let me know what i can plant at this time august.. though it's still hot in karachi ..let me know about flowering n nonflowering plants alike n vegies as well :) i'll be grateful :)

Unfortunately I'm not positioned to advise on that particular topic, but have you checked the gardening calendar topic? I think there is a vegetable section in there too. Once you have done so or found any additional information I would be grateful if you could add to the forum.

you can sow marigold at this time for autumn blooms.

Summers were hot this year- and absolutely no rain. I was protecting plants too!

Lots of flowers can be sown this time- check the local catalogues, calender posts to get an idea. Same with veggies.

My advice would be to select one or two flowers, and mass plant them-easier to keep track/take care and looks amazing- for a beginner!

I would advice to wait till mid September because at this time you will get poor output moreover, seedling will not also be too strong.
